Summary of Short Story : The Cat by Banjo paterson

As we know, any people think that cat is unintelligent animal. They only can hunting for a mice, eat and drink a milk. But, in fact, it isn’t true. Cats are the most characteristic animal of all the Kingdom of animal. They has more character than humans being.They have so many satisfication out of life.

The cat is an athlete, a musician, an acrobat, a good fighter. The cats spend their time at home. to pass the time away, the cats waiting in front of the mouse-hole waiting for a mice. This things make people know that cats only doing like this in whole of cat’s life. But people don’t what cats do when evening comes.

When the family gather to have a tea. The cats usually waiting under the table, and rub himself on the legs of the family. If there’s a guests at the table. The cats come to them. Try to get their attentions. But they don’t want to give something to eat, instead they strokes the cat and said that the cat is a poor cat. Sometimes the cat get tired of that, the cat rakes the guest’s leg. He don’t know the cat just want something to eat.

The guest crying in a pain, he want to kick the cat out through the window. But he can’t. Then give a sorts of a fish form his plate to the cat. The cat take it and looked at the guest thinking with a revenge. Cat Isn’t a fool things. Then go to the corner, to eat that meal.

When the family finished tea, the cat go and got a free time outside of the house. The cat walk down in the backyard. Jump over the fence, the cat moves quickly from side to side and quietly. There might be his enemies, dog, a child with a stone, etc.The cat arrived on the top of shed. The cat make a calling sign, for a love, a war or sport.

Just imagine, the cat can get much things out of his life and do anything. There’s a hurricane of fighting, an love affairs, his life is. And they have sport too. They are hunting a place, where they have more new challeging adventure.

Actually, the cat won’t leave his country, leave place where their friends are there. To live in a strange land, the would have got any experience, learn how to avoid dog’s attack, to fight, to love another women cat. But life is not long enough fot that sort of things. So, when the family moved. If allowed, cat would stay at old house. Waiting for a new tenants. The cat will give them privilege for paid a boarding when the cat enjoys life in his own way.
